Are you keen to improve your bouldering technique, gain confidence in your climbing, and meet new people?


Bouldering Foundations is a 3 week course aimed at people climbing between V0-V2 who would like to improve their climbing technique and movement skills. If you've never had any formal training or coaching this is the best way to ensure you have a good understanding of the fundamentals of climbing. 

Over the 3 weeks we will cover:

Footwork - This includes how to place and weight your foot on different holds, along with many other ways to feel secure in how you use your feet.

Balance & Movement - There are many elements which help us stay balanced, such as how we move our centre of mass, and where we create tension in our points of contact to the wall. These can help us find rest positions, and take strain off our arms.

Dynamic movement - Many people think of jumping up the wall when we talk about dynamic movement. However just injecting small amounts of momentum into our climbing can make a huge difference. It allows us to reach further and save energy.
